Tenant Electricity Model: Now Available to Everyone in the Neighborhood

The tenant-owned electricity model in the Fürstenried West neighborhood is being expanded: Effective immediately, all residents can participate—regardless of whether a solar power system is already installed on their building. This means that a uniform program will apply to the entire neighborhood going forward

The solar power generated on selected rooftops is used directly within the neighborhood. If generation is insufficient, the supply is automatically supplemented with 100 percent green electricity from the public grid. Another new feature is the pricing structure: a uniform rate applies to the entire neighborhood. The offer is available immediately for new customers and will take effect for existing customers starting April 1, 2026. The energy rate is 28.40 cents/kWh (gross), and the base rate is 11.90 euros per month (gross).
