New parklets with seating area and bicycle repair station: an enrichment for the FÜRstenried West district

Our neighborhood has two new parklets for public spaces. These small wooden structures offer new places to meet and space to relax. They are located at Appenzeller Strasse 127 and Bellinzona Strasse 7. Visit the new parklets and enjoy your time outdoors!

Bicycle repair station

One of the highlights is the new bicycle repair station at Appenzeller Strasse 127. Right next to the existing mobility station for cargo bikes, you can now carry out small repairs to your bicycle yourself. The station is not only functional, but also offers comfortable seating that invites you to take a break and have a chat.

Sitting area

Another gem is the cozy seating area at the playground at Bellinzona Strasse 7. Equipped with a table and a solar-powered charging station for cell phones, it offers an ideal place to relax and linger. Parents and grandparents can relax here while the children play nearby. This new seating area provides a valuable meeting point in our neighborhood.
