2026 Gardening Season: Raised beds available at the garden islands

The new season is beginning, and raised garden beds are once again being allocated at the garden islands in the Fürstenried West neighborhood. Anyone interested in growing their own vegetables, herbs, or flowers right on their doorstep can secure a spot for the 2026 gardening season.

A garden plot costs 20 euros per year. Soil can be ordered as an optional extra for an additional fee. In addition to the private raised beds, there are also community garden plots that are open to everyone and will be replanted this year. The focus is on pollinator-friendly plants, so that the garden island can also contribute to biodiversity in the neighborhood.
