The new neighborhood square is taking shape

The new neighborhood square is set to become the heart of the FÜRstenried West neighborhood: a central location where paths converge, services are brought together, and everyday encounters take place. Directly on the square, Haus Silberberg is being built, offering a variety of amenities for the entire neighborhood.

Plans call for a new neighborhood community center with a communal kitchen, library, and movie corner, as well as spaces for neighborhood management and a restaurant. An accessible rooftop terrace will provide additional space for communal activities and allow visitors to experience the neighborhood plaza even above ground level. Across the street, a full-service EDEKA supermarket is planned for 2028; construction on the building is scheduled to begin in 2026.

The project is also moving forward underground. Work on the three-story neighborhood underground parking garage is largely complete. It will provide approximately 200 parking spaces, including shared spaces for short-term parking. According to the current schedule, the Silberberg building is slated for completion in the first quarter of 2027.
